Major Referee Change On WWE Netflix Debut
One of the biggest nights in WWE history took place when Raw debuted on Netflix and it was a night of several changes in the company.
John Cena kicked off his farewell tour on Raw as he announced not only was he entering the Royal Rumble, but he was going to win the whole thing to claim a title shot at WrestleMania.
Cena’s old rival The Rock was on hand to acknowledge the undisputed Tribal Chief after Roman Reigns battled Solo Sikoa. The Undertaker even made a shock appearance to endorse a new champion after a huge title change took place on the show before CM Punk stunned Seth Rollins in the main event to defeat his hated rival.
WWE Referees Get New Look
Given the historic nature of the show, there were some changes on Raw that fans were quick to notice. WWE sealed a deal with Hulk Hogan’s beer company to feature it as one of the canvas sponsors. The canvas itself has changed from its traditional light blue colour to black for the show and the referees on the show were sporting some changes as well.
The black and white zebra stripes which have been ubiquitous with the company’s officials for decades are gone and in their place is a grey polo shirt with black stripes and a WWE logo on the chest.

It remains to be seen if this look will appear on all WWE shows moving forward or if this will be reserved for Raw on Netflix.
