NXT Gold Rush 2025 saw multiple memorable moments throughout the two weeks that the television special continued. The fans were treated to multiple title changes, a shocking betrayal, and a special announcement from John Cena.

Amid all this excitement, there was another moment that might’ve gone unnoticed by some fans. Popular NXT superstar Charlie Dempsey made his return to the promotion in the middle of a match.

Dempsey had been absent from NXT since the middle of October, after he announced that he would be going to Japan for a while. He had been touring for Pro Wrestling NOAH during this time, a Japanese promotion that WWE have a working relationship with.

Huge night for No Quarter Catch Crew on NXT

The No Quarter Catch Crew had been down and out on their luck for the last few months after both Myles Borne and Tavion Heights left the group. However, tonight was a huge night for the stable as multiple things went in their favour.

Charlie Dempsey returned during Kendal Grey’s defense of the WWE Evolve Women’s Championship. Grey became a member of the group in Dempsey’s absence after being taken under Wren Sinclair’s wing.

She retained the title against Lainey Reid, making a good first impression in front of the group’s leader. The night became even more memorable for her as she was announced as the final member of the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge by John Cena, capping off an incredible night for the No Quarter Catch Crew.
