Major Match Involving Bayley Announced For WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

WWE is set to host Saturday Night’s Main Event next week, and it is expected to be a huge show, given that it will be the last time John Cena will ever compete inside a wrestling ring.

The 17-time World Champion’s retirement tour is set to come to an end next week as he faces Gunther in his final WWE match. While Cena’s retirement match has been on the card for a long time now, the rest of the card started taking shape tonight.

With the show featuring matches between NXT and main roster superstars, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes’ match against the NXT Champion was announced on the show before a match involving Bayley was also confirmed.

Bayley to face Sol Ruca at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

Former NXT Champion Bayley is one of the four horsewomen of the women’s division and is also one of the most successful NXT superstars. Bayley has won everything there is on the main roster and is an inspiration to the new class of wrestlers coming through.

In a match that perfectly blends together the past and present of NXT, Bayley will face former NXT Women’s North American Champion, Sol Ruca at next week’s event. Sol is one of the most talented wrestlers on the NXT brand.

She is the longest reigning Double Champion in NXT history as she held both the Women’s North American and the WWE Women’s Speed Championships simulatenously. Sol Ruca was even recognized by John Cena as one of the best competitors on NXT as he chose her for the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge as well.
