The move comes after AJ Styles headed to Japan to face Naomichi Marufuji at NOAH Destination on July 13th. On that occasion, Styles got the win following a Styles Clash.
Interestingly, the relationship between WWE and Pro Wrestling NOAH looks set to continue after it was announced that Josh Briggs and Tavion Heights will take part in the N-1 Tournament.
As 2024 has progressed, the sports entertainment giant has shown an increasing willingness to work with different promotions, establishing relationships with TNA and Marigold as well as NOAH. It’s also been confirmed that several Superstars will compete at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XI on July 28th.
