Major Clue Hints At Trouble Between The Rock & WWE

The Rock WWE

Are there really problems brewing at the very top of WWE between the company’s management and The Rock?

The Rock last appeared in WWE at Elimination Chamber, where he fired the starting pistol on John Cena’s heel turn as he attacked Cody Rhodes with the help of The Final Boss and Travis Scott. Many expected to see The Rock at WrestleMania 41 as part of the WWE Title match between Cena and Rhodes, but instead it was Travis Scott who emerged alone to help Cena.

Since then, it’s emerged that The Rock wanted Cody Rhodes to turn heel as reports of unease between the WWE icon and his old rival, Triple H, persist.

But is The Rock really fed up with WWE altogether?

The Rock’s Silence Not Golden For WWE

Speaking on Coach & Bro, Jonathan Coachman claimed that he thinks The Rock’s silence on WWE indicates that there is trouble in paradise:

The more time that goes by, and he’s not showing up. He’s not even commenting on a product that he is on the board of directors of. And you can’t tell me that he’s so busy making movies and doing his promotional stuff that he can’t tweet or do videos on Instagram.

So don’t you believe that there’s something real here that you and I broke several months ago? Almost five months and Cena’s heel turn, that Rock started and not a peep. Don’t you think that’s intentional?

Former WWE writer Vince Russo chimed in with his own thoughts on the situation:

Why would you not promote a company you’ve got a huge stake in, unless maybe you don’t believe in that company or you don’t believe in the way things are currently being run?
