The most hated man in AEW has spoken.

Since being forced into the singles ranks after an injury to his tag team partner, Mark Davis, Kyle Fletcher’s career has gone from strength to strength.

Fletcher is currently enjoying his first run as the TNT Champion after having previously held the ROH World Television Championship. This has come against a backdrop of chaos and general villainy as part of the Don Callis Family.

During an interview with TMZ Sports, Fletcher was asked about his rise to become the “most hated man in AEW.” But far from questioning how he got to this point, the confident Aussie said he’s embracing the label.

“Yeah, I can’t lie. It’s exactly how I’ve felt my whole life. My whole life, I have enjoyed growing up, I have an older sister and my mom. I just love, like, annoying the crap out of them to the point where they tell me to piss off or, like, whatever.

So it’s just- it brings that side out of me. Like, I love that feeling of like looking at the crowd and saying something and then having people stand up and go, ‘no, shut the f*ck up.’ Like, oh, I’m like, ‘give it to me, baby.’”

Kyle Fletcher To Defend Title At AEW Full Gear

Up next for Kyle Fletcher is a high-stakes clash with Mark Briscoe at Full Gear on November 22. The pair have been wrapped in an on-and-off rivalry for several months, and Briscoe remains determined to take the TNT Championship from Fletcher.

But the match at Full Gear comes with even bigger stakes. Not only is the match No Disqualification, but if Briscoe loses, he’ll be forced to join the Don Callis Family.

Elsewhere, Mercedes Mone will challenge Kris Statlander for the AEW Women’s World Championship, and “Hangman” Adam Page will defend the men’s World Championship against Samoa Joe in a Cage match.
