Major AEW Tag Team Calls Out FTR On Dynamite Tonight

FTR is one of the best tag teams in professional wrestling today and recently won the AEW World Tag Team Championship, for a record-equalling third time in their career, making them the joint-most successful tag team in the promotion.

Since winning the championships, they have been embroiled in a feud with the Bang Bang Gang as Austin Gunn and Juice Robinson have been a thorn in FTR’s side throughout.

Stokely issued a challenge for the tag team championships to the Bang Bang Gang, and the two sides met in the main event of last week’s episode, where FTR retained their belts in an extremely competitive match, following which the Bang Bang Gang called them out tonight.

Bang Bang Gang wants another shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championships

During their championship match last week, the Bang Bang Gang dominated for a large part of the match and managed to get multiple nearfalls. For a brief moment, it seemed that they had gotten the better of FTR as well.

Juice Robinson had pinned Dax Harwood as the referee hit three, but Cash Wheeler got his partner’s foot on the rope just as the referee hit three, and the match was allowed to go on as FTR retained the belts.

“You have to get down and dirty and violent in the streets to settle the score.”

After being disappointed with the decision, the Bang Bang Gang challenged FTR to a Chicago Street Fight for the Tag Team Championships at World’s End in Chicago, but the champs have yet to respond to this challenge.
