Major AEW Star Makes Surprise Return At Dynamite
AEW has many huge stars on its roster, and some of them haven’t been present on the company’s programming for a while. The promotion was recently treated to two huge returns in the last two months.
Former AEW champion Swerve Strickland returned to the promotion at the end of Full Gear 2025 in November, while MJF returned a few days before World’s End last month.
Another major AEW star made his return to the promotion tonight, which shocked fans both online and in the arena, as the star hadn’t been seen in the promotion for a long time.
Andrade returned during the first AEW Dynamite of the year
Former WWE star Andrade El Idolo re-debuted in the promotion during the sixth anniversary episode of Dynamite in October and attacked Kenny Omega, aligning himself with the Don Callis Family.
However, he was taken off TV as he was found to have been in breach of his WWE non-compete clause. It seems like his contract troubles are behind him now as he returned tonight to cement his place within the Don Callis Family.
Just as @Boy_Myth_Legend + the @YoungBucks were celebrating their victory, @TheDonCallis Family is showing off their dominance including @JakeSomething_ + @AndradeElIdolo!

The group had attacked The Young Bucks and Jack Perry before they were rescued by an injured JetSpeed. Andrade made his presence known as he took out JetSpeed and stood tall in the ring alongside Don Callis.
