Major AEW Return Set For All In Texas

Tony Khan AEW All In Texas

One of AEW’s top stars is set to be back in time to be part of the company’s first US stadium show, All In Texas.

The top matches for All In Texas took shape following Double Or Nothing, when the finals of the two Owen Hart Foundation Tournaments took place. The women’s tournament was won by Mercedes Mone, who will now challenge Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s World Championship. Hangman Adam Page will challenge Jon Moxley for the AEW World Title after he defeated Will Ospreay in the men’s tournament final.

And it seems another major match is going to be on the card with one top star ready to return.

At Dynasty, Adam Copeland was betrayed by FTR after the three men failed to capture the AEW Trios Championship. Since then, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler have continued to make a nuisance of themselves, targeting Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness, becoming even more of an irritant by adding Stokely Hathaway to their group.

Adam Copeland Set To Be At AEW All In Texas

With Copeland missing since that event, it seems like a return is coming sooner rather than later, with the WWE Hall of Famer set to revive a legendary tag team when AEW invades Globe Life Field.

WrestleVotes noted on Wrestle Binge that Copeland should be back in time for All In Texas and is set to be part of a huge tag team match against FTR:

Cope, as far as I know, is gonna be back for All In. Supposedly, there’s a tag match on the book. Him and Christian [Cage] against FTR.

The last time Copeland and Cage teamed together in a normal tag team match was all the way back in March 2011. Then known simply as Edge and Christian, the iconic team picked up a win over Alberto Del Rio and Brodus Clay.
