Main Roster WWE Star Gives Triple H TNA Pitch

A top WWE star can’t wait to work with TNA.

On January 16th, WWE officially announced a multi-year partnership with TNA Wrestling. As noted in the press release, the agreement is “aimed at creating unprecedented crossover opportunities within WWE and TNA programming for NXT Superstars and TNA Wrestling Stars.”

The announcement acted as an expansion of the agreement already in place between the two sides that saw NXT and TNA stars move between promotions in 2024.

The latest step in the partnership saw TNA World Champion Joe Hendry take part in the men’s Royal Rumble match, where he entered at number 15 before being eliminated by Roman Reigns.

Bayley Sent Triple H An Important Message

Ahead of the Royal Rumble, Bayley spoke with Adrian Hernandez of Unlikely, where she discussed WWE’s partnership with TNA. The former Women’s Champion revealed that on the day that it was officially announced, she immediately contacted Triple H to try and get involved.

“Dude, not even two years ago—this is nuts. We’re in this relationship with TNA. We have all these talented women in NXT. People are coming from all around the world to be a part of this because it just keeps getting bigger and bigger.” Bayley said.

“The crazy thing about the Royal Rumble this year is that we have a good problem. We have too many women. Compared to the first year, when we needed to bring in Legends and NXT talent to fill out the match. Now we’re in a place where we have too many talented women. And it’s just beautiful to see.

“When they announced the TNA partnership, I texted Hunter immediately and said, ‘Sign me up, dude.’ He was like, ‘Oh, okay, hold your horses.’ You know, they’ve got a system, they’ve got to go through the process. But being in NXT and working with a lot of these newer girls, I’m excited to just keep learning from different people.”

Bayley was most recently in action in the women’s Royal Rumble match where she lasted over 45 minutes after entering at number 12. However, she was ultimately eliminated by the returning Nikki Bella.
