Main Roster Figures Want Quick Call-Up For NXT Star

Another NXT champion could be heading to the main roster.

Shortly after WrestleMania 41, three of the biggest stars in NXT were moved to the main roster. This has seen Roxanne Perez join Judgment Day and carry one-half of the Women’s Tag Team Championship, Giulia win the Women’s United States Championship, and Stephanie Vaquer earn an upcoming shot at the Women’s World Championship.

Meanwhile, it’s been claimed that Ricky Saints and Ethan Page are on the verge of moving away from NXT. And it seems they aren’t alone.

Sol Ruca To Leave NXT Behind

According to a new report via Wrestle Votes Radio, people with big influence on the main roster are pushing for Sol Ruca to be called up. Although NXT figures want to keep her where she is, there’s a growing feeling they’re fighting a losing battle.

“We are told there are several people within WWE, some with direct influence on the main roster, who absolutely love Sol Ruca and think the world of her potential.

While those in NXT would like to keep her around as long as possible, there is a growing sense internally that her time on the main roster is coming and that she is more than ready for the challenge… some on the main roster want her up and want her up quick.”

As well as holding the Women’s North American Championship, Sol Ruca is also the Women’s WWE Speed Champion. However, she might not be for much longer. A recent report has suggested that WWE has quietly dropped the show, and no new episodes have been broadcast since July 9.
