Ludwig Kaiser Open To Major Character Change

Ludwig Kaiser WWE entrance

Ludwig Kaiser believes he could make a success of a different character.

Since signing with WWE in 2017, Ludwig Kaiser has worked exclusively as a dastardly heel, often alongside Gunther. This has seen the star rise through the WWE ranks and become an increasingly big part of Monday Night Raw.

Kaiser is already a two-time NXT Tag Team Champion, and in more recent times he’s challenged for the Intercontinental Title, although he’s failed to win the gold.

As his profile increases, fans have begun to wonder whether Kaiser could eventually become a babyface and fully step out on his own.

In a new interview with Chris Van Vliet, this idea was put to Kaiser, and he refused to rule out making the change.

“I never say never. I do believe that I can work babyface. I actually think that I could be a good babyface. I have a good babyface run in me.

When I was in Germany and I was a babyface I was never the 100% of the crowd is on my side babyface. I was always very polarizing, either people really hated me or they really liked me. Most of the times, the kids and the women like me and the men hated my guts.

There was a time in wXw where I was supposed to be that babyface runner-up, and they hated it. It was like 80% against 20% really killing me out there.

But yeah, I do think I got it in me. First of all though, I gotta knock this heel thing out. Be natural and be happy who I am, because it comes obviously much more naturally,”

William Regal Made Sure WWE Landed Ludwig Kaiser

During the same conversation, Ludwig Kaiser broke down how he came to sign with WWE. The star revealed that the company was on the lookout for a German wrestler and scheduled a tour through Germany to stop off at several notable wrestling schools and independent promotions.

However, once William Regal saw his name on a list of potential signings, he called the tour off while telling the company to sign him.

On the February 24 edition of Raw, Kaiser will clash with Penta and Pete Dunne in a Triple Threat Match.
