An absent AEW star is closing on a comeback.

Shortly after the April 2 edition of Dynamite, it was reported that Jay White had suffered a legitimate injury and would require surgery.

Less than 24 hours later, a further report confirmed that Orange Cassidy is believed to be dealing with a pectoral injury, although the severity of the issue remains unknown. To make matters worse, it was then reported that Mark Davis had also joined the injured duo.

However, some better news is on the horizon.

Juice Robinson Closing On AEW Return

Thankfully for AEW, Juice Robinson is now just a “few weeks away” from beginning in-ring training as he begins his road back to action. Robinson suffered a broken fibula in November in a freak accident during a match with Will Ospreay in late October 2024.

As noted by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Robinson is now well on the road to recovery.

Juice Robinson is a few weeks away from beginning in-ring training. At that point a time line should be there for a return. Robinson snapped his fibula landing on it badly in a routine roll-up spot before the Styles clash in his 11/27 Continental Classic match with Will Ospreay in Chicago. He had surgery to repair it on 12/9.

Juice Robinson signed with AEW in late 2022 and went on to team up with Jay White as Bullet Club Gold. The pair then joined forces with The Gunns as the Bang Bang Gang.
