Long-Time Absent WWE Star Will Be Back For WrestleMania Season
A long-time absent WWE star could soon be back in action.
It’s been almost two years since Alexa Bliss stepped into a WWE ring, but that could be about to change.
While away from the company, Bliss gave birth to her first child as well as battling a series of health problems including skin cancer and what she’s described as “postpartum health complications.” However, for several months she’s been open about her desire to return to the ring.
In her most recent update, Alexa Bliss said the timing of her comeback wasn’t up to her.
WWE Return Nears For Alexa Bliss
As reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, there’s been a “lot of talk about Alexa Bliss in WWE creative circles of late.”
As was previously noted, Bliss is figured to return after the holiday season, and WWE is working on how to work her comeback into storyline. More specifically, those Johnson spoke to are of the belief she’ll be back in the mix before WrestleMania season which kicks off at the Royal Rumble if not sooner.
Bliss wrestled her most recent match at the 2023 Royal Rumble where she unsuccessfully challenged Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Title.
Meanwhile, Charlotte Flair recently caused a stir online as speculation around her own comeback gathers pace. The Queen has been out of action since suffering a major knee injury in December 2023, and although she wasn’t expected back before 2025 that hasn’t stopped the rumour mill.
Some fans have speculated whether Flair could be behind the mysterious storyline attack on Jade Cargill on SmackDown.
