Logan Paul Makes Special Request to WWE CCO Triple H
Part-time WWE superstar Logan Paul recently made a special request to WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H.
On the latest episode of his IMPAULSIVE podcast, Logan Paul revealed that he wants to be included in WWE’s upcoming Japan tour in October. WWE has announced two major live shows at Tokyo’s historic Sumo Hall for October 17 and 18.
The Maverick sincerely admitted on the podcast that even though he is not a regular full-time wrestler like others in WWE, he genuinely enjoys every moment in the ring and wants to take part in more events.
WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton was the guest on the show and asked her to join WWE’s Japan tour in October. Responding to that, Paul stated that he has requested Triple H to book him for the tour.
He told Stratton and his listeners, “I said to Triple H, ‘Book me for the Japan trip.’” [4:18 mark]
Logan Paul Hopes for Fresh Start
This desire comes with added complexity considering Logan Paul’s controversial trip to Japan in 2017. He was widely condemned after posting a YouTube vlog that showed a deceased person in the Aokigahara forest, known as the “suicide forest.” The incident had led to worldwide backlash and heavy criticism.
The former United States Champion has always denied being officially banned from Japan but has said he would only return if invited, hinting at a wish to make amends and move forward through his WWE work.
Performing in Japan would mean a fresh chapter for Paul, and it would give him the chance to reconnect with Japanese fans under entirely new circumstances. As of now, it’s up to WWE and Triple H on whether the YouTube star will make the journey this October.
