Logan Paul Set For Storyline With Major Celebrity

Logan Paul is set for a high-profile rivalry heading into SummerSlam.

It’s been announced that Jelly Roll will appear at the July 11 episode of SmackDown in Nashville. This was followed by a report that claimed that the appearance would be used to set up a match at SummerSlam involving the music star.

As noted by several outlets, Jelly Roll has been training hard to prepare for his in-ring debut.

Logan Paul vs. Jelly Roll?

In a fresh update from Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported that Jelly Roll is set to tangle with Logan Paul, and their rivalry will begin on the July 11 edition of SmackDown. There remains no word on who will be by Jelly Roll’s side at SummerSlam.

It’s unclear whether this is set to set up a singles match or a tag team match.

Logan Paul hasn’t wrestled since teaming with John Cena in defeat to Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes at Money In The Bank.

Back in September, it was announced that the first-ever two-night edition of SummerSlam is set to be hosted by Hip Hop megastar Cardi B.

Elsewhere on the card, Jade Cargill will challenge Tiffany Stratton for the Women’s Championship, and Cody Rhodes will challenge John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship in a huge WrestleMania rematch. Cargill and Rhodes earned their spots with victory in the Queen and King of the Ring tournaments, respectively.
