Logan Paul Set For WWE Return

Logan Paul is coming back to WWE following a big win in a boxing match.

This past Saturday in Manchester, England, Logan Paul fought MMA fighter Dillon Danis in a boxing match that Paul won easily. The six-round fight saw Paul win every round and ended up as a disqualification win for Paul when Danis kept on going for takedowns.

After the fight, Logan Paul was interviewed in the ring where he made it clear his intention is to return to WWE and he had an opponent in mind – the United States Champion Rey Mysterio.

Clearly, this was all part of the storyline plan because the WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio reacted to it with this on X/Twitter.

It has also been reported by Fightful Select that Logan is scheduled to make his WWE return at Smackdown this Friday.

During an appearance on Ariel Helwani’s The MMA Hour show on YouTube, the United States Champion Rey Mysterio was a guest on the show where he also confirmed that Logan Paul will be on Smackdown this Friday. That could set up the Mysterio-Paul match possibly at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia on November 4th.

Logan Paul is coming off a big win at SummerSlam

While Logan Paul is a contracted WWE superstar, he is a part-time performer who wrestles a handful of matches per year. This year, he competed in the Royal Rumble, which was used to set up his match with Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 39. Rollins won that match over Paul, but Paul impressed a lot of people.

At Money in the Bank, Logan Paul was considered one of the favorites to win the match, but it ended up being Damian Priest as the winner. Paul was put through a table in an incredible move by Ricochet, which set up that rivalry.

The opening match at SummerSlam saw Logan Paul defeat Ricochet in a very entertaining match. It was Paul’s first win in a WWE match since SummerSlam 2022 when he beat The Miz.

Late on Monday, WWE advertised the Logan Paul-Rey Mysterio segment for this Friday on Smackdown.
