Logan Paul Sees Roman Reigns Match In Similar Vein To Fight With Floyd Mayweather

Logan Paul will be in for the fight of his life at WWE Crown Jewel, which is why he is comparing the upcoming match with Roman Reigns to the time when he faced one of the greatest boxers ever.

It would be fair to call Logan Paul a fast learner when it comes to his WWE career. The YouTube star and podcast host made his WWE debut at WrestleMania 37 when he supported Sami Zayn against Kevin Owens. That didn’t end well since Owens dropped Paul with a Stunner.

At WrestleMania 38, Paul teamed up with The Miz to beat Rey & Dominik Mysterio. Paul impressed a lot of people in that match, which led to his first singles match at SummerSlam 2022 when he defeated The Miz and Paul looked even more impressive.

Perhaps Paul looked so impressive in a ring is because, in June 2021, he lasted eight rounds against legendary undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather. It was an exhibition fight with no winner announced, but Paul has mentioned several times on WWE TV that he is proud of how he did because he wasn’t knocked out by Mayweather.

Up next for Paul is perhaps the toughest test you can have in WWE because he’s going to challenge the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel on Saturday, November 5th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

When Paul was asked what he can learn from Reigns going into their Crown Jewel match, Paul compared it to when he faced Floyd Mayweather.

“I love knowledge, and when I take on the G.O.A.T’s it’s an opportunity for a masterclass for me. When I fought Floyd Mayweather, I wasn’t just fighting Floyd Mayweather, I was paying attention to every single nuanced movement that he did. One time I was by the ropes and he had me under his arm, dude covered my mouth with his glove and stopped my breathing for, like, two breaths. An advanced move that only Floyd Mayweather would know because he has been boxing for 40 years. I’m positive Roman’s going to have some stuff up his sleeve and I’m going to be paying attention to all of it and use it and put it in my arsenal for when I become the WWE Champion.”
