Logan Paul Wants To Return To Japan Despite Controversy
Logan Paul wants to return to Japan.
In 2017, long before he stepped into a WWE ring, Logan Paul found himself at the centre of a huge media storm that could have cost him his career.
That December, Paul released a video of his visit to Aokigahara Forest, which has been dubbed “Suicide Forest” because of its popularity with those looking to take their own life. In the clip, the star showed footage of a suicide victim, and was widely criticised as a result.
Since then, he’s stayed away from the country, but on his Impaulsive podcast, he said he’d like to be invited back.
“I have to do it the right way. I’d like to be invited. Like, maybe if WWE does an event there.”
Logan Paul Flying High In WWE
Despite his penchant for controversy, Logan Paul continues to earn plaudits for his performances in WWE.
Off the back of his win over AJ Styles at WrestleMania, the star has now booked himself a shot at Jey Uso and the World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 24. The match will be Paul’s second shot at World Championship gold after he lost to Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel back in 2022.
Elsewhere on the card, John Cena will square off against R-Truth, Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest meet inside a Steel Cage, and CM Punk will team with Sami Zayn to face Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker.
