Logan Paul Reflects On His WWE Career In 2023

Logan Paul WWE US Champion

Logan Paul has discussed his accomplishments in WWE in 2023 while also claiming he’s going to take over WWE.

It was a career year for WWE United States Champion Logan Paul in 2023. The 28-year-old YouTuber, podcaster, businessman, boxer and WWE superstar only wrestled five matches in the year, but they were all memorable and his last one ended with a championship.

For the first time in his career, Logan Paul competed in the Royal Rumble and Money in the Bank Ladder Matches. During the Royal Rumble, Logan Paul and Ricochet had an incredible spot where they both jumped off the top rope and collided in the middle of the ring in a move that fans had never really seen before.

As for his singles matches, Paul had a fantastic match with Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 39. While Paul didn’t win, he put on an impressive performance.

Paul did go on to win his other two singles matches in 2023 since he defeated Ricochet at SummerSlam and beat Rey Mysterio at Crown Jewel to become the United States Champion. Those wins weren’t clean since Paul is a heel, but once again Paul showed he can compete at a high level in WWE despite only having eight career matches.

While speaking on a YouTube video on his own channel, Logan Paul spoke about some of what made 2023 so special for him.

“I was really proud of this move [Royal Rumble spot] because it’s hard to do something original in the WWE. Some of the moments I’ve had this year in wrestling, I will remember for the rest of my life. This is actually my greatest accomplishment this year. I went injury-free, but I did get close to almost breaking my neck at Money in the Bank.”

“Accidents happen. Like when I almost broke Rey Mysterio’s neck, but then saved it. Yes, that is the match where I became United States Champion. If you’ve followed my journey for ten years now on the internet, I don’t just do things to take part, I do them to take over, and I fully plan on doing that with WWE.”

“The future is bright and I’m going to make a lot of noise and disrupt the entire industry.”

When Will Logan Paul Wrestle In WWE Again?

In December, the WWE SmackDown brand held a United States Title Contender’s Tournament featuring eight deserving superstars. The finals are set to take place on Friday, December 5th with Kevin Owens facing Santos Escobar. The winner of that match will face Logan Paul for the United States Title in a match that’s likely to take place at Royal Rumble 2024 on January 27th.
