Logan Paul Should Beat Jey Uso for Exciting Reason Says Ex-WWE Writer

Logan Paul

Logan Paul is in line for his first shot at the World Heavyweight Championship this weekend.

Logan Paul will go toe-to-toe with Jey Uso for the World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event. While Jey is the favorite to retain the title, a former WWE writer wants The Maverick to win his first title so that he can defend it against Gunther.

After WrestleMania 41, Logan Paul decided to step things up and inserted himself in the World Heavyweight Championship picture. The former United States Champion has since called Jey Uso a copycat champion and has been trying to shatter his confidence.

On the Wrestling With Freddie podcast, former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr discussed Saturday Night’s Main Event. He stated that he was excited about the show because he loved every match on the card. He went on to suggest that The Maverick should win the World Heavyweight Championship so that he could face Gunther.

“I really want to see Logan Paul win, because I want to see Gunther vs Logan Paul. I want to see a full-on baby face Gunther. I don’t know if they can do it because he has been such a good heel. It would be a shame to lose such a good heel on the roster.” [31:41 – 32:16]

Logan Paul May Be A Part Of Major Tag Team Match At Money In The Bank

WWE will present Money In The Bank on June 7th. The PLE will take place a couple of weeks after Saturday Night’s Main Event. The match card is shaping up nicely with Rhea Ripley, Roxanne Perez and Alexa Bliss qualifying for the women’s ladder match. As for the men, only Solo Sikoa has confirmed a spot in the ladder match. The card will get clearer with every passing week.

According to a report, Logan Paul is rumored to team up with John Cena and Travis Scott at Money In The Bank. If Paul is added to the mix, the trio may be facing off against the team of The Usos and Cody Rhodes. The match will mark Rhodes’ first encounter since losing the WWE Championship to John Cena at WrestleMania 41.
