Logan Paul Breaks Silence On Tension With John Cena Before MITB
Logan Paul is teaming up with John Cena to take on Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso at Money in the Bank 2025 in a tag team match.
The tag team match took shape after The Franchise Player attempted to cost Main Event Jey the World Heavyweight Championship match against The Maverick at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Cody Rhodes returned during the event to stop John Cena from ruining wrestling for everyone! On the latest episode of SmackDown, it seemed that there may be trouble in paradise for the Cena-Paul union.
Logan Paul explained what happened on WWE SmackDown with John Cena
During the flagship show, fans noticed that The Champ and The YouTube Star entered into a brief confrontation before being jumped.
The Maverick spoke about the exact situation during his latest vlog, explaining why he felt John Cena and he should not have walked away.
I was so pumped to go out there and just like work with Cena, talk my sh*t. I was saying some truthful sh*t and I was ready to go bro. Like, Cena just gassed me up. He was talking about how dope I am. And, I was like, dude that’s so rue. These people don’t realize it but one day they will. But, just mad ungrateful Tennessee people. I was hyped up, so I wanted to fight. I was ready to go, bro. I was ready to go. And, Cena was trying to leave. So, I was like, ‘Dog, I just almost beat this guy [Jey Uso] last weekend and I didn’t because he cheated with Cody’. We were not on the same page, John and I. I know he’s like the greatest in this, in many ways, cause I should be like, looking at him like my mentor, in a way. But, I personally felt like we probably should have attacked in that scenario. It was two on two and then we didn’t. Then, they got the jump on us.
It is being speculated that Logan Paul will emerge as John Cena’s next opponent for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Money in the Bank itself.
