Logan Paul Breaks Character To Praise WWE Rival
Logan Paul is well known in WWE for playing an arrogant, overconfident heel who often puts himself first and gets under the skin of fans and fellow wrestlers alike.
But on the recent episode of his IMPAULSIVE podcast, he broke character and showed genuine appreciation for one of his top WWE rivals, Randy Orton. During the episode, he was chatting with WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton about standout talents in the wrestling world.
When asked if he watched Stratton’s championship match at SummerSlam on Saturday, Logan Paul admitted he hadn’t caught all of it because he was next to go out for his match. However, he was quick to say that he loves watching her in action because of her strong performances. He then shifted the conversation to another wrestler he truly admires, The Viper.
Logan Paul Calls Randy Orton the Best in the Company
Logan Paul shared his honest thoughts on Randy Orton, recalling their team match at SummerSlam on August 2, where he teamed up with The Scottish Warrior Drew McIntyre to face The Apex Predator and music star Jelly Roll. Paul’s team won, with The Maverick pinning Jelly Roll for the victory. Despite being opponents, Paul spoke highly of Orton’s skills and presence in the ring.
“There are some people I’m like I want to see what they do in this match because I love their body of work,” Paul said. “Randy Orton, for example, is f**king incredible. I think he’s probably the best in the company right now. Working with him is amazing,” he added. [1:18:13 – 1:18:25]
