Logan Paul Wins Boxing Fight; Calls Out WWE Champion

Logan Paul

Logan Paul picked up a big win in the boxing ring and now he has his sights set on some WWE gold.

When he’s not competing in a WWE ring, Logan Paul can be found in a boxing ring just like he was on Saturday in Manchester, England. Logan fought MMA fighter Dillon Danis on the Prime Card.

It was a fight dominated by Logan Paul as he won every single round while Danis barely threw any strikes. Even though it was a boxing match, Danis kept on trying for takedowns. The six-round fight saw Paul win every round and ended up as a disqualification win for Paul when Danis kept on going for takedowns.

After the fight, Danis went after Paul as well as security guards before others stormed the ring to try to calm Danis down.

In a post-fight interview, Logan Paul criticized his opponent for putting on a poor performance.

“He’s supposed to be good at jiu-jitsu. What happened? I stuffed his takedown and he missed the guillotine. Sorry, I missed the hammer fists…Dillon is a dirty human being.” (CBS Sports)

Logan Paul challenges Rey Mysterio to US Title match

What was most interesting from a WWE perspective is that after the fight, Logan Paul was interviewed by Ariel Helwani with Paul saying he was going back to WWE to face Rey Mysterio for the WWE United States Title. Paul also challenged UFC legend Conor McGregor to a boxing match.

Rey Mysterio, the WWE Hall of Famer that is the current United States Champion, heard what Paul said and reacted on X/Twitter.

Did @loganpaul just call me out? I’m not hard to find homie. Every Friday Night on SmackDown.

The next WWE Premium Live Event is Crown Jewel on November 4th in Saudi Arabia. At last year’s Crown Jewel, Paul challenged for a title for the first time in WWE when he lost to Roman Reigns in a match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title. Paul was very impressive in that match and has since gone on to have great matches with Seth Rollins and Ricochet, who he beat at SummerSlam two months ago.
