Logan Paul Hints At Betraying John Cena In New Video
Logan Paul and John Cena are teaming up at Money In The Bank.
John Cena and Logan Paul will be in tag team action against Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes. After his brief argument with The Last Real Champion last week, Paul has hinted at betraying him.
Last week’s final segment on WWE SmackDown saw Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Logan Paul, and John Cena come face to face. This was the first time all four men were in the ring at the same time since Saturday Night’s Main Event. When Jey Uso insinuated that the four throw hands, Cena decided to retreat, but Paul had other plans. The segment ended with the heel duo getting beaten while Rhodes and Uso stood tall.
Logan Paul recently uploaded a short vlog on his YouTube channel. He publishes a video every week to show his fans how the previous week was. The video started with him giving his viewers a sneak peek into the behind-the-scenes content of his latest promo for Prime. While celebrating pulling off the scene, in his excitement, he said that John Cena was going down. He later corrected himself and replaced Cena’s name with Jey and Cody’s.
“You’re f*****g going down, John Cena. I mean, wait, no, you’re going down Jey and Cody.” [1:03 – 1:08]
Why Is John Cena Teaming Up With Logan Paul?
At Saturday Night’s Main Event, the seventeen-time World Champion had a brief altercation with Jey Uso. He told Uso that he wanted to retire with the WWE Title, and if Logan Paul was World Heavyweight Champion at the time, it would ruin wrestling for everyone. During Uso’s match, Cena ran into the ring and broke up the pin that would have seen Jey retain his title.
While John Cena was attacking Jey Uso, Cody Rhodes’ music played and The American Nightmare ran in to save his former tag team partner. After ensuring that Jey got the win, Rhodes took a mic and challenged his WrestleMania opponent and Paul to a Tag Team Match against him and Uso at Money In The Bank.
