Logan Paul Apologizes To WWE Legend “Mr. Cold” Steve Austin
Logan Paul feels bad about something he did recently involving a WWE legend.
At WrestleMania 41, Logan Paul picked up a big win over future WWE Hall of Famer AJ Styles. Since then, Paul has had his eyes on the World Heavyweight Title held by Jey Uso.
While Paul had confronted Jey in the ring in the past, on the May 5th episode of Raw, Paul waited until after the show to deliver a cheap shot punch to an unsuspecting Jey Uso. Paul left through the crowd while Jey was knocked out.
After WrestleMania, Logan Paul revealed that he offered WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin $1 million to appear in a Prime bottle. Prime is an energy drink that has become a massive company that Paul owns, so Paul wanted the Rattlesnake to endorse it.
“We offered Steve a million dollars to be in the Prime bottle. He didn’t do it. So instead he ran a poor woman over with an ATV. We offered him a million like bro, do you want to get in this bottle? I don’t think he even considered it for a second. Imagine it, he face-revealed the Prime bottle and it’s Stone Cold?! He could have done anything, which is why it would have worked.”
Steve Austin confirmed that Paul made the offer, but Austin turned it down because he wasn’t into the idea. Austin is a beer drinker who sells his own beer, so he didn’t think promoting Prime would be a good fit for him.
Logan Paul Has An Apology For “Stone Cold” Steve Austin
In a YouTube vlog, Logan Paul spoke about the offer made to Austin, and Paul issued an apology for talking about their private conversation.
“Mr Cold, I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize. I didn’t mean to expose any private business conversations… Sometimes I say too much… I have a big mouth and a platform to say a bunch of shit and I said a bunch of shit. Sorry about that, Steve.
I hope I didn’t ruin our relationship. I hope we can work together in the future. By the way, I completely understand why you wouldn’t accept the million dollars… It’s not your thing. We know it was a reach. You’re a legend. And you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take, Steve. So, we tried.
It didn’t work out this time, but I hope to see you in the future. And I hope you’re not mad at me.”
It sounds like Logan Paul was sincere with his comments even if he did call Austin “Mr. Cold” instead of Stone Cold
