The first episode of WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix may be taking place in one of the biggest cities in the United States.

There are just three months left of WWE Monday Night Raw on USA Network. The January 6th, 2025 episode of Raw will air live on Netflix as the first ever WWE show airing live on the streaming giant.

This past week on the September 30th edition of WWE Raw was in Ontario, California, which is near Los Angeles. During the show, WWE showed some Netflix executives sitting in the front row and having a great time at the show.

It is being reported by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the January 6th Raw might take place in Los Angeles.

While not confirmed, there was a lot of talk this week coming off Raw that the first Raw on Netflix on 1/6 would be in Southern California. There were Netflix employees in the first few rows at Raw this week. Netflix is based in both Los Angeles and Los Gatos, CA, which would be the San Jose market. As part of that talk was the idea of doing NXT in the same building the next night. Again, this is just talk although the Raw episode in Los Angeles is pretty strong talk.

Will John Cena Be On WWE Raw’s Debut On Netflix?

One of the biggest names in WWE history will be part of the Raw debut on Netflix because former 16-time World Champion John Cena has stated recently that he will be there.

“I can tell you I’ll be there for the debut. I think it’s 1/6. I’m not sure, I think so; don’t quote me on that, but it’s a history-making day for WWE. I’m so very proud of WWE. Man, I’m such a fan of the merger. I love the two companies, WWE and Netflix, and it’s an event that I will not miss. I will be there.”

Since the January 6th date is coming soon, WWE will likely confirm the location for the first Raw episode on Netflix in the weeks ahead.
