Liv Morgan’s Recovery Timeline Revealed After Heartbreaking Injury
Liv Morgan is set to miss several months of WWE action.
The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion squared off with Kairi Sane last Monday on RAW. Seconds into the match, the 31-year-old suffered a legitimate injury as she landed awkwardly following a single-leg takedown.
After the medical staff checked on Morgan, the referee announced Sane as the winner due to the Judgment Day member’s inability to compete.
Later on the show, WWE announcer Michael Cole provided an update on Morgan’s situation, disclosing that she had suffered a dislocated shoulder.
During an episode of WrestleVotes Q&A on Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, WrestleVotes noted that Morgan would seemingly be sidelined for three months.
I was gonna mention the reaction that was back in Gorilla, lot more reserve, lot more calm than a few weeks ago when Zoey Stark got injured, so, I take that as good news.
Just talking to a few people, obviously didn’t talk to any doctors, so internet don’t run wild with it, but it feels about three months she’s gonna be on the shelf with the injury.
So, tough luck all the way around but hopefully its a speedy recovery and she comes back stronger than she was before. [H/T: Sportskeeda]
Kairi Sane Has No Backstage Heat Over Liv Morgan’s Injury
A recent report from PW Insider shed light on how the Stamford-based company views Liv Morgan’s injury situation.
It was noted that WWE does not blame anybody for the Women’s Tag Team Champion’s injury, meaning Kairi Sane has no backstage heat.
Instead, Triple H and his team view what happened as a “freak accident.”
