How Can Liv Morgan Keep Women’s Tag Title Despite Potential Long Absence

Liv Morgan injured WWE

Liv Morgan may not have to relinquish her title after all.

Liv Morgan was unfortunately injured during her match against Kairi Sane on WWE RAW. Since then, rumors suggest that she and Raquel Rodrigues may be forced to vacate the Women’s Tag Team Titles. But a former WWE Superstar had other ideas.

On the Busted Open show, former WWE Superstar Tommy Dreamer discussed Liv Morgan’s situation. According to him, she wouldn’t have to relinquish her championship because of her injury. He spoke about the possibility of her traveling with the group and still holding on to the championship with Rodriguez.

“She does not need to miss time as an on-air character because of all the stuff that The Judgment Day does behind the scenes. You can play this into your storyline. You can use this injury to get her sympathy as well as timeline-wise, now you have to address the [WWE] women’s tag team championship. They planted seeds earlier with her and Raquel, and I think they’re going to be splitting that crew up. If you want, she can still as long as she can travel. Traveling with a dislocated shoulder is hard. She either has to get a private plane or a bus” [H/T Sportskeeda]

What Injury Has Liv Morgan Sustained?

On WWE RAW this week, Liv Morgan had a standoff with IYO SKY, with the two coming to blows in the opening segment of the show. Later in the night, she took on SKY’s good friend Kairi Sane, whom Morgan has had problems with over the past few weeks.

At the beginning of their match, Sane took down Morgan, who landed awkwardly on her arm. She immediately retreated outside the ring and signaled the referee that she was legitimately injured. Medical experts were quick to act and took her to the back while Sane was declared the winner. Michael Cole quickly let the WWE Universe know that the former Women’s World Champion sustained a dislocated shoulder, and hence, the match was stopped abruptly.
