Liv Morgan escaped injury at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
At Saturday Night’s Main Event, Liv Morgan put her Women’s World Title on the line against Iyo Sky.
In the early going, Sky appeared to hold the initiative, but the champion was always there or thereabouts.
In the closing stages of the match, Sky hit Morgan with a stunningly stiff knee to the face before going to the top rope. However, the champion blocked Sky’s Moonsault before hitting Oblivion to earn the win.
Liv Morgan Is Fine
In the immediate aftermath of the bout, fans watching at home were concerned Morgan had sustained a legitimate injury. Following the knee to the face in the closing stages Morgan’s nose was bleeding and fans feared she’d broken her nose. However, the star appears to have escaped the match unscathed.
As reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Morgan is okay and “somehow did not suffer a broken nose.” Johnson noted that the Women’s World Champion had been checked out by WWE medical before being given the all-clear.
Following the match, Rhea Ripley confronted Morgan as she celebrated at the top of the ramp. It’s long been believed the pair will meet for a third time in early 2025 after matches at SummerSlam and Bad Blood.
Later in the night, Cody Rhodes left the arena on a stretcher after being attacked by Kevin Owens. After jumping Rhodes from behind after the match, Owens delivered a Package Piledriver.
