Liv Morgan Escapes Rhea Ripley – For Now

At SummerSlam, Liv Morgan retained her Women’s World Title with a win over Rhea Ripley, but that was only part of the story. The match came to a stunning conclusion when Dominik Mysterio turned his back on Ripley to help Morgan grab victory before the couple kissed as they left together.

On the following episode of Raw, a match between Damian Priest and JD McDonagh descended into chaos. Priest was also betrayed at SummerSlam with Finn Balor costing him the World Heavyweight Title, so unsurprisingly, the star was a man on the mission.

As Priest was being beaten down by McDonagh, Carlito, Dominik Mysterio, Rhea Ripley ran into make the save while chasing down Morgan. However, just as Morgan was about to be put through the announce table, Mysterio helped her escape. But McDonagh wasn’t so lucky as he was destroyed by Priest back in the ring.
