Liv Morgan Shares Major Update After Gruesome Injury On WWE RAW
Liv Morgan suffered a facial injury on the June 2 episode of WWE Raw.
One-half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions faced Ivy Nile and Stephanie Vaquer in a Money in the Bank qualifying match.
Vaquer, who made her official Raw debut, ultimately won the triple threat match, securing the last spot in the June 7 PLE match.
Morgan then uploaded a picture of her face on Instagram that showed a laceration on her forehead.
The former Women’s World Champion made her return to the red brand last week, after completing her shoots for the movie, Bad Lieutenant, Tokyo.
On the May 26 episode, she faced Kairi Sane in a singles match, but lost after being distracted by a Roxanne Perez interference.
Liv Morgan Might See A Plastic Surgeon For Her Facial Injury
Liv Morgan reflected on her MITB qualifying match loss while appearing on Raw Recap with her tag team partner Raquel Rodriguez.
Morgan did not appear deflated, and instead was her usual sassy self, claiming that she let someone else win.
You know what is so nice of me, though, about it…is how gracious of it was for me to let someone else win. Let someone else qualify, give someone else an opportunity to climb that ladder and grab that briefcase like I did.
Meanwhile, the Women’s Tag Team Champion stated that she would be in the area during Money in the Bank, pointing out that she might have to see a plastic surgeon for her forehead injury:
“I believe that I’ll be in the area. I might have some meetings today, who knows? I might have to see a plastic surgeon, who knows? I might have to pay a visit (…) You’re gonna see me. And you know, I already got checked out. We’re all good to go. I’m gonna go [sic] with Raquel and Daddy Dom. Maybe I’ll see you guys in LA.”
Despite that, Morgan mentioned that she “got checked out,” and there was no cause for worry.
Morgan won the MITB match in 2022, cashing the briefcase on the same night, defeating then-SmackDown champion Ronda Rousey.
