Why Liv Morgan Reminds WWE Legend Of Herself

Liv Morgan

Liv Morgan has earned high praise from a WWE Hall of Famer.

In fact, Trish Stratus went on to say that Morgan reminded her of herself due to the similar qualities they possessed.

The 31-year-old star has been on the shelf since June 2025 after suffering a shoulder injury during a singles match against Kairi Sane on RAW.

Since then, she has undergone surgery and has been in rehabilitation, looking at a return early next year.

Meanwhile, Trish Stratus discussed Liv Morgan’s popularity in the Stamford promotion, stating that she is someone the wrestling fans will be talking about for a long time.

During an appearance on Bill Apter’s APTER CHAT podcast, Stratus admitted that Morgan reminded her of herself.

Honestly, it’s the go-getter of her, right? Like, she won’t quit. She wants to always outdo her last performance. I feel like she has the same drive that I do. She knows that she hasn’t hit her stride. Even when she’s hit her stride, she’s like, “No, I got more. I got more to offer.” And she’ll keep coming back, and she will keep raising that bar every time she comes back. [5:34 onwards]

Liv Morgan Keeps Fan Guessing About WWE Return

Liv Morgan got injured at the peak of her popularity in WWE, as she was being built up to feud against Hall of Famer Nikki Bella.

Due to her injury, the creative team was forced to scrap potential plans and chart a new one for Bella, who has an ongoing feud with Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer.

Morgan recently attended the Stranger Things Season 5 premiere, where she was asked about her return to in-ring competition.

Without giving out any details, she said that the fans will just have to wait and watch.
