Liv Morgan Praised Heavily For WWE Survivor Series Return

Liv Morgan “looked possessed, and I loved it,” says a WWE Hall of Famer.

Former WWE Women’s Champion Liv Morgan suffered a shoulder injury during a match in early June and had surgery to repair it. After over five months on the shelf, Liv made her return at Survivor Series in San Diego.

During the John Cena-Dominik Mysterio match for WWE’s Intercontinental Title, Morgan went down to the ring and slapped her “boyfriend” Dirty Dom in the face. Morgan would then jump into Cena’s arms, as she has said in the past that she grew up a big Cena fan.

However, Morgan was just putting on a show because she let go of Cena and kicked him in the groin with a low blow while the referee was out of the ring.

After Liv’s devious attack, Dom hit a 619 kick, and Liv hit Cena with the IC Title in the head. Dom went up top and hit a Frog Splash. Liv sent referee Patton back in, and Patton counted the pin…1…2…3 to give Dominik Mysterio the Intercontinental Title for the second time in his career.

Liv Morgan’s Look When Turning Was Superior To John Cena At Elimination Chamber

When John Cena surprisingly turned heel at WWE Elimination Chamber in Toronto on March 1st, he did so after hugging WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and then looked at The Rock, who signaled for Cena to attack.

While talking about Morgan’s actions at Survivor Series, WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley (aka Bully Ray) said on Busted Open Radio that Morgan played her role perfectly, and he loved the way it was shot as well.

“Great job by Liv and Dom, pulling the wool over people’s eyes. And then Liv Morgan, on John Cena’s last PLE, kicks John Cena right in the balls, which allows Dominik Mysterio to go over.

I loved the ISO shot. I loved Liv jumping into John’s arms. I loved the camera close up on Liv’s eyes and how they popped out of her head like the evil she-devil that she is. Little manipulative you-know-what.”

As for her facial expression, Bully Ray said Liv’s look was better than Cena’s.

“I think the Liv look was far superior to the John look (at Elimination Chamber). The John was more deadpan. John’s look was less is more, Liv’s look was so over the top. She looked possessed, and I loved it. Everything that went on in Dom and John worked.”

After her heinous actions at Survivor Series, Liv Morgan posted a photo of herself in John Cena gear, which led ot her buddy Raquel Rodriguez laughing about it on social media.
