Liv Morgan Loves Bad Guys
Liv Morgan is loving life as a heel.
Since returning to action at the 2024 Royal Rumble, Liv Morgan has been enjoying the most high-profile run of her career.
Powered by a need for revenge Morgan threw herself into a more heelish persona before putting Rhea Ripley on the shelf, taking Dominik Mysterio and the Women’s World Title. She also continues to claim credit for retiring Becky Lynch who hasn’t wrestled since being beaten by Morgan in May.
Although she’s now lost the World Title back to Ripley, don’t expect Morgan to leave her life as a heel behind just yet.
During an appearance on Eric LeGrand’s A Cup of bELieve Podcast, Morgan was asked whether she prefers to be a heel or a babyface, and explained why she loves to try and understand bad guys.
“I think I gravitate towards bad guys, maybe naturally. I just feel like there’s a reason for everything, a reason for the behavior. I just feel like there’s a reason for everything, There’s a reason for this behavior. There’s something misunderstood there that I kind of want to figure out. That’s my toxic trait, that’s my red flag.
It’s the best, it’s so funny, it’s such a different feeling than being cheered, being disliked. To get people riled up to where they want to voice their displeasure for you. It is such a funny feeling and I love it.”
Liv Morgan Heading To Elimination Chamber
On the February 3 edition of Raw, Morgan became the first woman to qualify for Elimination Chamber.
In a qualifying match against Iyo Sky, Raquel Rodriguez tried to help her friend grab the win, but she was attacked by Rhea Ripley. Ripley then hit Morgan for good measure, only for the referee to disqualify Sky as a result.
Back in January, it was reported that Liv Morgan was set for a big push heading into WrestleMania. The belief is that Morgan and Rodriguez will be pushed strongly as a tag team leading into the event.
