Liv Morgan Breaks Silence After Costing John Cena Title At WWE Survivor Series 2025
Liv Morgan cost John Cena the IC title at WWE Survivor Series.
Cena defended the Intercontinental Championship against Dominik Mysterio at Survivor Series on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Petco Park in San Diego, California.
Things took a wild turn when Cena accidentally knocked down the referee.
Seeing the referee out cold, Mysterio’s Judgment Day allies, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh, showed up. They tried to help Dom, but Cena took them out with a double AA.
Shortly after, Liv Morgan made her surprise return after five and a half months on the show. She made her way to the ring and slapped Dominik Mysterio.
John Cena was stunned by the gesture and, just like everyone, thought that Morgan had turned on her boyfriend.
But it turned out to be an act. Moments later, Liv Morgan kicked Cena below the belt, and that’s when it all went down for Cena.
Mysterio followed it up with a 619. Morgan then slammed the IC belt onto Cena’s face, allowing Mysterio to hit his opponent with a frog splash.
Morgan helped the referee into the ring, who counted 1,2,3… for the pin.
And that’s how, folks, John Cena lost, and Dominik Mysterio became the new WWE Intercontinental Champion.
Liv Morgan Makes Fun Of John Cena
Following the premium live event, Liv Morgan took to social media to address her actions.
She posted a tweet on X mocking The Last Real Champion. The tweet featured a picture of her wearing Cena’s wrestling gear and doing his iconic salute pose.

For those who don’t know, Morgan suffered a shoulder injury on the June 16 episode of Monday Night Raw, where she faced Kairi Sane in a singles match.
She had been out of action since then. During her absence, Roanne Perez has taken her place in The Judgement Day.
Dom and Liv seem to be on good terms, but with Roxanne in the team, drama and tension can surely be expected.
