Liv Morgan’s Injury Worse Than Expected — Recovery Timeline Revealed
Liv Morgan is reportedly set for a long absence from in-ring competition in WWE.
The 31-year-old superstar suffered an injury last Monday on RAW while wrestling Kairi Sane. The match had to be canceled as Sane was announced the winner due to Morgan’s inability to compete.
Michael Cole later announced that the Women’s Tag Team Champion had suffered a dislocated shoulder.
A recent report from PW Insider claimed the Judgment Day member’s injury would require surgery. Hence, she would be out of action for a lengthy period.
While initial reports suggested Morgan could be out for three months, Cody Whoades of BodySlam.net recently disclosed that she is expected to step away from the ring for six months as the injury proved more severe than initially thought.
Ex-WWE Writer Urged Triple H To Keep Liv Morgan On TV
Former WWE head writer Vince Russo recently took to X to address Liv Morgan’s situation after the news of her requiring surgery.
The wrestling veteran revealed that he feels bad for the Women’s Tag Team Champion for being injured after all her success in recent months.
Meanwhile, Russo urged WWE Creative, led by Chief Content Officer Triple H, to keep the Judgment Day member on TV despite her injury.
I feel bad for @YaOnlyLivvOnce. Man, the Lady has gotten herself over with not much creative help from the Office. Speaking of which—I hope @WWE Creative understands that she can STILL BE ON TV EVERY WEEK WITHOUT HAVING TO WRESTLE!!!
