Liv Morgan Receives Good News Regarding Legal Issues
There is a positive update regarding WWE’s Liv Morgan following a recent arrest.
Liv Morgan was arrested on Thursday, December 15th in Sumter County, Florida after a traffic stop. Morgan was arrested for possession of marijuana (not more than 20 grams), possession of drug equipment and possession of drugs, possibly synthetic cannabinoids.
The arrest took place at 6:30 P.M. on Thursday, December 14th when Morgan’s yellow jeep was crossing over the white and yellow lines of a County Road, so a sheriff’s deputy pulled her over.
A search of Morgan’s vehicle revealed a “small plastic bag containing marijuana” and a vape pen that held “an oil-like substance.” That substance was tested and proven to be marijuana.
In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that the synthetic marijuana charge was dropped and it will likely be just a small fine for Morgan.
“Regarding Liv Morgan and her arrest a few weeks back, she hired Jack Goldberger, one of the best criminal attorneys in Florida. The state dropped the synthetic marijuana charge which was the felony and transferred the marijuana case to a different division which hasn’t been listed yet.”
“The belief at this point is most likely it will be a misdemeanor charge and most first-time offenders with marijuana in Florida pay a fee of $100 and they’ll drop the charges without anything appearing on her record.”
Liv Morgan Remains Out Of Action Due To Injury
The July 24th edition of WWE Raw was the last time Liv Morgan appeared in the ring. That was the night when Liv Morgan was taken out by Rhea Ripley before it was broken up by officials. That was WWE’s way of taking Morgan out of storylines due to a serious shoulder injury.
During her WWE career, Morgan has been a Smackdown Women’s Champion and a two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion with Raquel Rodriguez as her partner. It’s not known when Morgan will be able to return to the ring.
