When Is Liv Morgan Expected To Make WWE Return?
Liv Morgan will likely be out of action for several more months.
Back on the June 16 edition of Monday Night Raw, Liv Morgan had been set to clash with Kairi Sane. However, less than three minutes into the match, disaster struck while Morgan took a routine bump in the ring.
The referee quickly ended the contest, and Morgan was helped backstage. In the days after the taping, it was confirmed that Liv Morgan had suffered a dislocated shoulder and would be heading for surgery.
Her injury sparked chaos backstage, with several storylines having to be rewritten around her absence. This included scrapping a planned match with Nikki Bella at Evolution, while a major angle at SummerSlam was also dropped.
At the time of her injury, Morgan was also one-half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions with Raquel Rodriguez. With the star out, she was quickly replaced by Roxanne Perez, who had already begun a storyline where he was working her way into the Judgment Day faction.
Rodriguez and Perez lost the titles to Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss at SummerSlam.
Liv Morgan Set For Evaluation
As reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Morgan was scheduled to have a fresh evaluation of her shoulder this week. This led some to believe that she would be attending Raw on August 11 as part of that process, but this turned out not to be the case.
The company remains hopeful that Morgan will be back in action in early 2026, barring any setbacks.
Some fans online have already fantasy-booked a scenario where Morgan makes a surprise return to win the women’s Royal Rumble match.
There has also been a positive update on long-term injury absentee Apollo Crews. After suffering a torn pec in late January and subsequently undergoing surgery, Crews is now back training in the ring.
