Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan has revealed she’ll be ending a historic WWE streak in 2025 as she’s already at the top of the women’s division.

In 2018, WWE introduced a women’s Royal Rumble for the very first time. Since then, seven women’s Rumble matches have taken place and as of the 2024 bout won by Bayley, only two women had been in them all – Liv Morgan and Natalya. But now Morgan is ending her streak.

Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, Liv Morgan confirmed that for the first time ever she’s going to be absent from the Royal Rumble match as she plans to still be Women’s World Champion by the time that match takes place:

You don’t know who’s going to enter the Royal Rumble or win the Royal Rumble. I’m not going to enter the Royal Rumble this year because I’m going to walk in as the Women’s World Champion. I’ve been in every single one, too. So, I’m actually going to miss this one.

Liv Morgan Sends WrestleMania Warning

Liv Morgan did send a warning to any prospective winner of the Royal Rumble over their choice of champion when it comes to challenging at WrestleMania 41:

If they choose me, they can pick a champion of their choice. I don’t think they would [choose me] because it’s not very smart to choose me. Have you been watching, Pat? Raquel, The Judgment Day, Daddy Dom. I don’t know who’s going to want to take their chance against me.

In 2023 and 2024, Liv Morgan finished as the runner-up to both Rhea Ripley and Bayley respectively but she won’t have the chance to go one better when the Royal Rumble takes place on February 1st 2025 in Indianapolis.
