Liv Morgan Breaks Character After Emotional WWE Crown Jewel Win

Liv Morgan entrance at WWE Crown Jewel

Liv Morgan is the first-ever Women’s Crown Jewel Champion.

At Crown Jewel, Liv Morgan defeated Nia Jax to break history.

During a chaotic encounter, Tiffany Stratton was prevented from cashing in her Money In The Bank contract not once, but twice. On the first occasion, she ran to the ring with both combatants down, before being cut off by an angry Jax.

Not to be deterred, Stratton tried her luck for a second time, only to be thwarted by Raquel Rodriguez. In the midst of the madness, Rodriguez and Dominik Mysterio helped Morgan to victory.

After the final bell, Morgan was presented with the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship by Triple H.

Liv Morgan Pays Emotional Tribute To Fans

Speaking after the event, Morgan briefly stepped out of character to explain just what her victory meant, thanking fans for sticking with her during her WWE journey.

“I feel like I owe a lot of my success to my fans. They stood by me in moments where I feel like I really didn’t give them anything to be proud of.

And they still stuck with me, and now here we are at the very top of the women’s division and I just want them to know that I really, really, really couldn’t have done it without you. So thank you.”

Speaking ahead of the event, Triple H claimed Saudi Arabia officials had asked for more women to be added to the card.

When WWE first visited Saudi Arabia in 2018 women were banned from competing in the ring, although that changed one year later when Natalya defeated Lacey Evans in the first women’s match to ever take place in the Kingdom.
