Linda McMahon Dodges Questions About Vince McMahon Allegations [Video]
During a recent public appearance Linda McMahon refused to comment when asked about the raft of allegations surrounding her husband.
Vince McMahon recently announced his retirement from WWE, where he was replaced by Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan as co-CEO’s, while Stephanie has also been appointment Chairwoman.
McMahon’s departure came as he is surrounded by a number of allegations of sexual misconduct. Meanwhile, it has since been announced that WWE will be reissuing financial statements for 2019, 2020, and 2021, as well as Q1 of 2022.
The move comes after the company uncovered payments worth $14.6 million made by McMahon that should have been recorded as business expenses.
However, one person has remained silent on the situation is Vince McMahon’s wife, Linda McMahon. That is until now. Kind of. During a public appearance for the America First Policy Institute Linda was asked about Vince’s retirement and the allegations and controversy that has surrounded his exit.
Despite being asked about the situation, Linda gave little away.
“I’m not going to talk about Vince and WWE, I’m here to talk about AFPI. You know what, he’ll just be deciding on how he’s going to spend his free time. I think that’s a good thing.”
Linda McMahon asked about Vince "retiring".
