Legendary WWE Star Struggled To Get In & Out Of The Ring

There comes a time when WWE superstars realize that the years of in-ring wrestling have taken a toll on their bodies.

WWE Legends such as Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Undertaker retired when they realized that their bodies weren’t capable of doing what it could do once, and they did not want to give a performance that did not match the legacy they had created.

One of the WWE superstars who faced difficulties was Andre the Giant

On Something to Wrestle, Bruce Prichard revealed that Andre the Giant was a brilliant worker. He was never afraid to put over other superstars in WWE, and actually worked with them. He did not just enter the ring and use his size as a dominating power, but he took bumps and falls just like any other superstar.

However, in the later years of his career, he found it difficult to get in and out of the ring.

So, when you hear the thing, ‘Oh,’ people just again for some people who only saw the 1987 on Andre the Giant weren’t exposed to the early Andre. Yeah, he wasn’t….he couldn’t do s**t. He couldn’t do anything in the later years. He had trouble getting in and out of the ring, much less taking a bump. But you go back and watch early Andre s**t, you will be amazed because he did a lot of things, man. And he put a lot of people over and made guys just being in the ring with him. So, he was a magnificant, magnificent worker.

He passed away on January 28th, 1993.
