Latest On Speculation Ricochet Could Return To WWE Television

Triple H WWE Speed Ricochet

A new report has attempted to clear up the confusion around Ricochet.

On the June 10th episode of Raw, Ricochet was written off WWE television via a brutal assault at the hands of Bron Breakker. It had previously been reported the star is planning to leave WWE when his contract expires in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, in storyline, WWE announced the former Intercontinental Champion will be out of action for “an undisclosed amount of time.”

According to a new report from Fightful Select, PWInsider’s note that the star could make additional appearances for WWE is technically true, but there are no plans to use him again.

Fightful confirmed Samantha Irvin will be staying with WWE and has traveled to Scotland for Clash at the Castle. However, there’s no word on how much time is left on her deal.

Jim Ross Thinks Ricochet Would Excel In AEW

On a recent episode of his podcast, Jim Ross said he wouldn’t be surprised to see Ricochet land in AEW. The legendary announcer said there’s no doubt the star’s talented and he could make a big impact in AEW if presented in the right way and utilised properly.

Following the chaos on Raw, Tony Khan was asked whether he’d be interested in signing Ricochet, but he declined to give an opinion as the star remains under contract with WWE.

Meanwhile, AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland has already sent a warning to Ricochet, promising to give him hell if he joins the roster. The duo have a lengthy history dating back to their time on the independent scene. The pair have clashed for several promotions and shared a locker room, but not the ring, while with Lucha Underground.
