Lacey Evans Faces Scathing Social Media Backlash
SmackDown star Lacey Evans has caused a social media storm as she shares a post that many have found offensive that promotes the idea that depression and anxiety can be “fixed” easily.
Evans is no stranger to social media controversy after she shared a post in December 2022 that suggested that ADD and autism “didn’t exist” before the widespread proliferation of processed food.
Now she has taken to her Instagram stories to give credence to suggestions that tasks such as “make a lot of money” can overcome anxiety and depression.

Lacey Evans has suffered from some start-stop booking ever since she returned after months out of action as she gave birth to her second child in June 2022, just weeks before Vince McMahon retired and Triple H took over the creative direction of the company. Her previous storyline before her hiatus involved a relationship with WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair who had turned against his daughter Charlotte Flair as part of the storyline.
Evans has only been part of ten televised matches including the women’s Royal Rumble, since her return to action with her most recent outing coming in a squash match victory on the 10th of February edition of SmackDown, defeating Carmen Harress.
