Massive Update On LA Knight’s WWE Future Amid His Absence

LA Knight WWE

LA Knight was written off WWE TV on the December 8, 2025, episode of Monday Night Raw following a brutal attack by Logan Paul and Bronson Reed.

After Knight lost his main event match against Paul, courtesy of masked attacker Austin Theory’s interference, he suffered a post-match ringside beatdown.

The Vision took the beatdown backstage, which saw Reed delivering a Tsunami splash on Knight on top of a car roof, which resulted in Knight being stretchered out of the arena in an ambulance.

On the December 15 episode of Raw, it was confirmed that Knight cracked his sternum and suffered other injuries, and WWE had to sideline him indefinitely.

According to Bodyslam+ via Patreon, Knight is expected to make his TV return “very soon.” It was also noted that The Megastar could return next week on the January 5, 2026, episode of Monday Night RAW.

The next week’s Raw episode will be the first WWE Raw show of 2026 and will take place next week on January 5, 2026, at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

It will also mark the first anniversary of RAW’s debut on Netflix.

It is going to be a huge night on Monday next week, and according to a new report, a 55-year-old veteran could also make his return on the show.

Chris Jericho Could Return To WWE RAW Next Week

According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer, veteran Chris Jericho might make his return on the January 5, 2026, RAW episode..

Jericho’s AEW contract will end on December 31, and he’ll become a free agent on January 1, 2026. Therefore, he can make his return to WWE next week.

“I’ve heard plans from WWE for him, but not that he was signed. That goes back months. He could be on Raw next Monday legally. There have been rumors of that. Knowing him, I think that he’d want to debut when people don’t expect it.”
