LA Knight’s Next WWE US Title Match Confirmed

LA Knight on SmackDown

LA Knight will put the United States Title on the line on SmackDown.

On the September 13th episode of SmackDown, Andrade and Carmelo Hayes wrapped up their ‘Best of Five’ series. The rivalry began back in July with Andrade picking up the first two wins, before Hayes responded to even the score.

In the deciding match on SmackDown, Andrade got back on top, pinning Hayes after hitting The Message from the top rope.

Immediately after the final bell, United States Champion LA Knight arrived on the scene and congratulated his new challenger before promising to drop him on his head.

LA Knight To Make Third United States Title Defence

LA Knight has held the United States Title since beating Logan Paul at SummerSlam to the delight of fans around the world. Knight made the most recent defence of the gold against Ludwig Kaiser at Bash In Berlin.

The match between Knight and Andrade will take place on September 20th.

Elsewhere on SmackDown, Cody Rhodes defeated Solo Sikoa in a thrilling Cage Match to retain the Undisputed WWE Title. After the match, Rhodes was attacked by The Bloodline, but Roman Reigns made his return to make the save. However, Reigns made it clear his comeback was more about getting revenge on The Bloodline, rather than helping the American Nightmare.

It’s been announced that Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns will team up to face Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu — not that Reigns was happy about being paired with Rhodes.
