LA Knight WWE Contract Details Revealed
LA Knight recently captured his first championship in WWE while also signing a new deal to secure his future with the company.
For several months, LA Knight was in pursuit of the United States Championship held by Logan Paul. The confident Knight believed that all he needed was one shot at the US Title to be the champion.
At WWE SummerSlam in Cleveland, there were three title changes and one of them saw LA Knight defeat Logan Pual to become the new United States Champion. While Paul attacked Knight before the match, Knight was able to make the comeback and hit the BFT for the pinfall win.
There is also some behind the scenes news regarding LA Knight because Fightful Select reports that the new US Champion agreed to a new long-term deal with WWE.
While there were reports in late 2023 that Knight agreed to a new deal, Fightful reports that Knight restructured and extended his WWE contract for a “large money increase” this summer. It was not reported how many years the deal is for, but it is believed that Knight will remain with WWE for “a number of years.”
Knight was working on a contract that would have expired in early 2025, but the new deal has added significant time to the deal and Knight was also given a significant, much-deserved pay increase. It was added that Knight used an agent to sign his new deal and some re-negotiations took place after WrestleMania 40.
Over the last year, Knight has become a main event babyface performer on the Smackdown brand with multiple shots at the WWE Title held by Roman Reigns.
