WrestleMania 39 saw the biggest stars of WWE showcased over two nights in Los Angeles but for LA Knight, the event proved to be a source of frustration as he missed out on a spot on the show.

On the night before WrestleMania 39, the Andre The Giant Battle Royal took place on SmackDown, and for those not on the ‘Mania card itself, this gave them the opportunity to be part of the weekend of festivities. One WWE Superstar took full advantage and the Los Angeles crowd gave them a hero’s reception as LA went wild for LA Knight.

Speaking to BT Sport, LA Knight discussed missing out on WrestleMania 39 and admitted the omission from the show left him less than happy:

“I kinda let that one just stay where it was because I had let out all my anger and frustration the night before because I felt very vindicated by the reaction that LA had given me at the SmackDown the night before. It was big, it was huge, and it kinda made me even more p*ssed off that I didn’t have something going on the next day.

“So, at that point though I had to just be like, ‘Well, it is what it is, bye’, and just kind of left it in the rear-view mirror at that point. So I haven’t really sat and thought about it, reflected on it, whatever. Glaring omission you say? Yeah. Maybe even a stumble or a fumble, I don’t know. But here we are and we’re gonna make up for it.”

LA Knight will have the chance to make up for his absence and then some when he participates in the men’s Money In The Bank ladder match on July 1st in London, England.
