LA Knight Wants Usher For Special WWE WrestleMania Entrance
LA Knight has some thoughts about a special WrestleMania entrance featuring popular singer Usher.
At the NFL’s Super Bowl 58 event in Las Vegas, the halftime show was performed by popular singer Usher, who sang some of the biggest hits of his career over the last 25 years.
One of Usher’s most popular songs was the 2004 hit “Yeah” which he performed with Lil Jon and Ludacris. At the Super Bowl, Usher performed the song there as well and it was a big hit with the crowd, which is not a surprise since it was the biggest songs of the 2000s decade.
As WWE fans know, the word “YEAH” has seen a resurgence due to the rising popularity of Smackdown star LA Knight. During his promos, Knight usually starts by saying “let me talk to ya” and he’s known for shouting “YEAH” as well. During LA Knight matches, fans often chant “YEAH” during his stomp routine or when he rams an opponent’s head into the commentary table repeatedly.
While appearing on WWE’s The Bump this week, LA Knight put it out there that he wants Usher to perform “YEAH” with him at WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia.
“Wait a minute. Can we get this set up? Is he coming to WrestleMania for my entrance or what?… I’m coming out and I’m doing it [performing ‘Yeah’] with him. Let’s go.”
It’s not known if Usher is a WWE fan or if he would want to do it, but now that Knight has put it out there, you never know if it could happen.
LA Knight Qualifies For WWE Elimination Chamber
Speaking of WrestleMania 40, LA Knight got a big win this past Monday on Raw when he beat Ivar to gain entry into the Men’s Elimination Chamber match at the Elimination Chamber PLE on February 24th.
The winner of that Men’s Elimination Chamber match will get to challenge Seth “Freakin” Rollins for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania on April 6th or April 7th in Philadelphia.
As of this writing, the four men to gain entry into the Elimination Chamber are Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton, Bobby Lashley and LA Knight…yeah.
On WWE Smackdown on February 16th, Logan Paul will face The Miz and Kevin Owens will face Dominik Mysterio. The winners of those matches will join the Men’s Elimination Chamber match as well.
